Sametsi Game Shumba, CEO
Sametsi Shumba (ADE) is a cooperative practitioner with over 10 years of leadership experience in the cooperative and financial services sector. An accounting Major from the University of Botswana also risk management practitioner. She also holds the prestigious African Development Educator and Cooperative Philosophy awarded from The ACCOSCA Academy. She has deep expertise in expanding access to financial solutions, particularly for individuals and communities with limited options.
Through extensive travel and exposure across several African countries, Sametsi has developed a strong appreciation for the continent’s diversity and a deep understanding of the varied financial needs that exist across different communities. This exposure has strengthened her ability to design inclusive, context-relevant solutions, making it easier for her to create meaningful impact within her own community.
In her role at Sesigo, Sametsi’s work is grounded in listening—truly understanding people’s lived realities and translating those insights into financial products that enable members to fulfil their dreams. She believes that access to finance goes beyond money; it is about dignity, opportunity, and empowerment.

Malebogo Motlaleng, Compliance manager/ Finance manager
Malebogo is the Finance Officer and Compliance Manager, she oversees financial operations. while ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance requirements. She plays a key role in strengthening internal controls, supporting accurate financial reporting, and promoting ethical and compliant practices across the organisation. Currently pursuing a Chartered Accountancy qualification through Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA), Malebogo is committed to continuous professional development, accountability, and sustainable organizational growth.
Lindiwe Moatshe, Credit Manager
With over 10 years of SACCO experience, Lindiwe Moatshe serves as Loans Manager at Sesigo Savings and Credit Co‑operative Society. She is responsible for loan administration, credit decision‑making, and ensuring strict compliance with established policies. Known for her patience, dedication, and strong customer service, she works closely with members to provide clear financial guidance while meeting tight deadlines and handling pressure effectively. Lindiwe is also a committed team player and financial coach, balancing her professional responsibilities with family life and upholding cooperative principles of integrity, accountability, and inclusion.
Kgomotsego Mpapane, Loan officer
Kgomotsego Mpapane is a dedicated Loans Officer with a strong academic and professional background in financial management, accounting and risk management She holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Management, supported by a Postgraduate Certificate in Risk Management, equipping her with a solid understanding of credit evaluation, loan structuring, and responsible risk management within a cooperative environment.
Her foundation in accounting through AAT Level 4 strengthens her analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and sustainability in lending decisions. In addition, Kgomotsego is a Certified Financial Coach through ACOSSCA Academy which enables her to support members beyond loan processing by promoting informed financial decisions and long-term financial wellbeing.
In her current role as a Loans Officer, Kgomotsego combines technical expertise, risk awareness, and financial coaching principles to deliver fair, sustainable loan solutions that align with both SACCO policies and the individual goals of members.

Ishmael Leungo is a results driven business professional with a strong background in sales and marketing, accounting, and financial services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management, supported by a Certificate in Long Term Insurance and training in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, equipping him with a strong blend of commercial, analytical, and digital skills.
He currently serves as a Loan Assistant and Marketing Officer at Sesigo SACCOs, where he actively supports business growth through client engagement, credit facilitation, and strategic sales and marketing initiatives. Energetic, creative, and a committed team player, Ishmael is driven by continuous learning, professional excellence, and delivering value-based solutions in fast paced environments.
